CloudStream Repositories & Extensions, Checked and Sorted by What You Actually Need
A CloudStream repository is a hosted list of extensions that connect the CloudStream app to streaming sources for movies, TV, anime, and live sports. Every repository listed here shows an install link, a shortcode, and a status you can actually trust.

What a CloudStream Repository Actually Does
If CloudStream’s home screen is empty after install, this is the part nobody explains clearly enough: the app and the content are two separate things.
CloudStream
The player itself. Open source, ad-free, and it stores nothing on its own.
A Repository
A hosted repo.json file, usually on GitHub, that points to one or more extensions.
An Extension
The plugin that actually fetches streaming links and displays them in the app.
Install CloudStream → add a repository → install the extension → start watching. Skip the repository step and the app will look broken even though it’s working exactly as designed.
Why This List Is Different
Most CloudStream repository lists are the same 40 links copy-pasted with different intro paragraphs. Here’s what we do instead.
Status, Not Guesswork
Every repository shows a status and a last-checked date, not a blanket “2026 updated” claim.
Honest About Safety
Extensions can execute code and read data inside the app. We tell you that plainly before you install anything.
Tested on Real Devices
Android, Firestick, and Android TV — not just “it loaded once” in a browser tab.
Built by Region
Hindi, Arabic, Indonesian, Turkish, Korean and more each get a dedicated page, not one buried row.
Browse Repositories by Language & Region
CloudStream’s extension community is genuinely global. Start here if you want content in a specific language.

The Repositories Everyone Searches For
Reviewed individually instead of buried in a table.
Working
Hexated Repository
Broad multi-provider coverage. One of the most commonly recommended starting points.
Working
Mega Repository
Installs a bundle of other repositories at once. Fast setup, less fine control.
Working
Phisher Repo
Strong for Hindi, English, and regional Indian sources.
Using CloudStream Repositories on Other Apps
If you’re trying to get CloudStream repos working in Nuvio, Arvio, or AnymeX, you’re not alone — and this is genuinely under-documented territory everywhere else.
CloudStream Repos on Nuvio
What actually works, and why sources sometimes load inconsistently.
CloudStream Repos on Arvio
A direct, honest answer to whether it’s currently possible.
CloudStream on AnymeX
Setup steps and the current state of extension support.
Common Problems, Answered Where You Land
- “Repository not found” or invalid data error — usually a mistyped URL or a repo that’s changed address.
- Repository won’t load at all — often your ISP blocking GitHub’s raw content URLs. A VPN usually resolves it.
- Extensions installed but nothing plays — the extension may be temporarily down upstream, or your CloudStream build needs updating.
- Repository shows as “disabled” — the maintainer has paused it, usually temporarily.
- Cache errors and random crashes — almost always fixed by clearing CloudStream’s app data.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a CloudStream repository?
A CloudStream repository is a hosted repo.json file, typically on GitHub, that contains one or more extensions. Installing a repository doesn’t add content directly — it adds extensions, which are what actually fetch streaming links into the app.
Is it safe to install CloudStream repositories and extensions?
Extensions can execute code inside the app and can access CloudStream’s app data. That’s true of the extension system generally, not a flaw specific to one repository. Stick to repositories with an active update history and a visible maintainer.
Can I install more than one repository at once?
Yes. CloudStream supports adding multiple repositories at the same time without conflicts — for example, one for English movies, one for anime, and one for a regional language.
Do I need to manually update my repositories?
No — CloudStream updates repositories and extensions automatically by default. You can turn this off under Settings then Updates and Backup if you’d rather control updates manually.
About This Site
Every repository listed on this site is checked against the current CloudStream build before it’s published, not sourced once and left to go stale. We don’t own or operate CloudStream and don’t host any streaming content ourselves — we document, test, and organize publicly available open-source repositories so you can find the right one faster.
Found a repository that’s stopped working? Report it and we’ll check it — that update goes straight into the status shown on the page.
